Lumia 930 Denim Thread

So. If you have a rom installed for which denim is now released, if you use the Lumia Software Recovery tool for say the Finland variant will it flash denim straight away? Or will it flash cyan and need you to go OTA again for denim?

but there's a NEWER version, which is this :
firmware : 02540.00019.14522.26003
OS : 8.10.14226.359
anyone knows whats the difference?
(the older version is cosmote greece variant, and 2nd version is greece CV)

My battery life is outstanding! Also, I've noticed that it does not get as hot as before. Oh, and when I first got my 930, the sound was a lot quieter that my old 920. That seems to has been resolved too.

I got a little scared about the increased volume, I used to walk around with 7, but now 4 or 5 is fine, it almost distorts if I go to 7+

It's not just me then! I was going to give it a few days to confirm it, but the battery life seems a LOT better.

Clearly the screen rotation is broken after denim, it doesn't rotate when it should most of the times. If I'm watching a video in landscape it often rotates the screen on its own without interaction for example. So annoying

Yeah, I'm seeing this too. It works; just very slow doing so.

I did mention user voice in my post... I dare say that is not the proper channel, as this is a bug in the firmware update and not a feature suggestion for the OS. I'll vote there anyway

I don't seem to have the rotation issue. 930 on DK firmware with Denim

just enable rotation lock, then disable it again.

Soft didn't fix it... and having spent the day rearranging my front tiles, I'm not inclined to do a hard reset :|

I used this very app for the "network+" app, as this is the one that's affected, do you think the "about" app would have a knock on effect?

Not really sure. Today software is stable even if some bits are wrong. And nobody really understands how it work. So the only thing I can say try it and than you know.

As long as you back up before hard resetting all will be fine with your home screen I've still got the same home screen from my old 920

Is it possible to download the VAR EURO GB CV BLACK firmware for Denim? It is live but only Cyan is available though Nokia Care Suite.
