Lumia 950 and storage locations

I am liking my Lumia 950 so far, other than a few minor problems, it is working great. One of those problems has to do with music. I have been using a Windows 7 PC with a copy of iTunes and the Windows Phone app for desktop to sync my iTunes library to my phone.

The music syncs fine, and all of my playlists show up (Groove Music is so much better than Xbox Live Music). The problem is that despite having new music set to save to phone memory in the storage app on the 950, the music is synced to the SD card. The only solution I've come across so far would be to remove the SD card each time I sync music. That of course is not very convenient.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if there is a trick to getting the music on the phone's built in memory.

Thanks

Have you tried selecting the default Music location as Internal Memory in Storage Sense?

When connected to iTunes can you expand your phone to show internal and external memory?

Thought I should bump this for a lack of activity. I am hoping someone in the community has some ideas.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. If I have the phone set to save music in a certain location, it definitely should be saved there.

I discovered now that it was indeed a bug. By updating my phone to the 10.0.10586.107 build through the new Release Preview option for Insiders, the phone now syncs the music to the correct spot. Kinda disappointing that I have to bypass my carrier to get updates still after all this time. AT&T is so slow to get updates out.
