Lumia 950 and Wi-fi Sharing?

My carrier allows me to share Wi-fi with my data plan for no extra charge. If I turn on the Wi-fi sharing feature on the L950, will it stay on regardless of whether there are any other devices connected to it or it'll shut off after a period of inactivity like the iPhone? I find that to be pretty annoying!

It shuts off after a period of time when no devices are connected, but a Windows PC can connect to it via Bluetooth and turn on the mobile hotspot automatically.

It would use a lot of battery if left on! So yes, it's always shut off after 5 mins. I've used 2TB in a month though mainly tethering, just keep things connected to it and it doesn't go if. Remember to charge it though lol.

I understand that, but it's nice to have an option available to me if I want it.
