Lumia 950 XL battery going from 90 to 100, then back down?

I just got this like new Lumia a few days ago, and I noticed once in a while during charging it'll jump from low/mid 90% to 100%. If I restart it, it'll automatically jump back down to the original percent and charge normally. I'm on latest firmware and .218, any tips? Thanks!

Use it for a few more days and observe if that behavior still persists. It may just need some breaking in.

I had the same issue. Go through a few cycles without restarting to stabilize the battery.

Oddly enough, the purchase came with a spare battery. Same issue with that one. I'll give it a few cycles as suggested and hope for the best.

It still has the issue, but to a lesser degree! It now skips up after mid/high 90%s. It seems to have improved with the latest production/release build. It's very strange, and Microsoft support would like a video of it in order to assist me further...But it's so unpredictable. I appreciate you checking up, really!

As long as it doesn't impede with the normal functions of your device, it should be fine. :smile:
