i wanna buy lumia 950 xl,but i have a big question,i could not find it in my searches,hope someone help me here
can i use a 1 tb external hard via display dock with lumia 950 xl?

Yes, you can both the 950 and XL support more than just USB OTG see the article below.

Yes you can. I've used both a 1TB and 2TB drive on mine.
