Does anyone know when the Nokia Lumia 928 will get the Lumia Black Update.
 
Soon. There's no schedule of release. So expect any time from now until WP8.1 comes out in April. Carrier depending of course.
 
Thank you From what Ive been reading it seams like Verizon likes to drag their feet
 
VZ and the 928 have always had issues, separate and together. Like said above, 8.1 is suppose to be announced and potentially releases around April and/or Spring. That being said, expect it before that. I believe MS said they would all be rolled out within Q1 2014 so given in a few more weeks. Also, you can do the Developers Preview. Give you practically everything that update will get anyways.
 
I went to the link and they wrote about an app folder???? Didn't know that we would have that...

For the record, the 928 was one of the first phones to get GDR2/Amber in the US, so we'll see how they handle GDR3/Black.
 
Just got an update from Rogers for my Lumia 1020!!!!! But I can't download now since I don't have WIFI.
 
From the Nokia software update page it says "waiting for approval" for the Lumia Black update for Verizon 928. Sigh....
 
If I've learned anything, it is that Verizon is extremely unpredictable when it comes to updates. GDR1 was slow on the 822. GDR2 was fast on the 928 and 822. But I don't think the Trophy ever got the 7.8 update. And now we're not up front with GDR3 like we were with GDR2. I think it just goes to show how silly it is to try to predict these things.
 
You are kidding right? Lumia Black JUST started to be released. If we get it in the next two weeks, I'd still think that is pretty quick.
 
I agree that it is a roll of the dice with Verizon on these things. We all need to just hope for the best and deal with reality.
