Lumia camera video mode

Launching the Lumia camera video mode crashes the app on my Lumia 535. Is there anything I can do aside from re-installing the app or doing a soft reset?

Those two solutions which you mentioned won't harm your phone or the data in your phone - you may wish to attempt those in addition to restarting your phone.

I have done those already. By the way, if anyone experienced the same issue, I found out that the app permission for Lumia camera regarding the microphone must be allowed in order for the app not to crash when launching the video.

All good here using Lumia camera and Microsoft Gamer, latest build of win 10 Mobile
