Lumia Icon 3.5 Jack Disable?

So this might be a long shot and rather silly but is there a way to disable the 3.5 jack on my Lumia Icon? 1. I don't ever really use it and 2. I got a blank plug I am putting into it and when I do this it thinks there is a headset hooked up when there really isn't. Anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to find out if there is a way to do this or not, thanks!

I guess I should have figured that was coming, because I am a nerd and got one of those anime charms for my phone. It has no other way to attach then other with the blank plug that inserts into the 3.5 jack. Sooooooo that is why.

I don't know that there is a software disconnect, but maybe tape around the metal plug to prevent conductivity.

The plug is plastic so it must be pushing out a pin inside to create the connection. I might just have to drill a small hole in the comer of my protective case and see if that works =/.
