Hello All,

I am from India. Nokia pulled off Lumia 930 from its website recently and I have no hope for it coming to India now.

I was thinking of getting the Icon from the US and had a few questions regarding it

1. Does the ICON have Glance? I am asking because the 930 doesn't have it.
2. Can you use the Lumia 930 firmware on the Icon? Don't want to be stuck with slow Verizon updates (I know they are different SKUs, but RM-890 and RM-891, two variations of the Lumia 920) can use each other's ROMs.
3. Will the ICON support international 3G bands? India uses 900/1800/1900 Mhz.

Why not just get the 930? Its available for 36-40k from ebay with shipping to India. Much better update support and no ugly Verizon logos plus colour options.
Answering your questions.
1. Nope
2. Nope!
3. Not sure.

I thought the Icon would have glance, didn't know it didn't. I saw good offers for the Icon recently at a good price, so thought I would get it.

Don't want to pay 40k for a phone without warranty and anyways absence of glance is a deal breaker for both phones.

I guess I would wait for the 925 successor which would have Glance.

Thanks for your help.
