Lumia phones such as L630 with no equalizer?

I believe its a must-have feature for a smartphone, even some basic phones has this feature. Wondering what stops MS to put a equalizer in my Lumia 638 :O Wouldn't have bought this if I knew this disappointed to the core.

This is due to limitations in the Nokia Lumia hardware.

I believe there is compromise with any phone. Enabling the equalizer takes some work and resources and considering the phone is a budget model, it was a compromise to make. or, it could just not have been a priority during development.

I think you'll appreciate knowing that in the next firmware update, Denim, the equalizer has been enabled in the 630 and people are already enjoying it.

You don't have Denim yet but it could be the extras+info bug. I can confirm that Lumia 630 with Denim firmware does enable equalizer

I guess not, i flashed the firmware and did not have to update audio
