Lumia software recovery tool not launching

My Lumia 520 suddenly freezed and not switching on now. I pulled off battery and again tried but no result. Phone not switching on despite of several reset methods etc. Then i downloaded and installed Lumia software recovery latest version but when i try to launch the application it does not start saying "THE UPDATE CANNOT START. PLEASE TRY AGAIN". Anyone help please
