Ever since the Windows 10 1511 update, all three of my Windows 10 PC's (Work, Home and Surface Pro 3) will not sync. It will say:

SOMETHING WENT WRONG syncing bay402-m.hotmail.com ERROR CODE: 0x86000206

I did contact support directly and they proceeded to download a bunch of third party programs like Tweaking.com Windows Repair and such and I simply put a stop to it and said this isn't PC specific since it happens three different PC's.

This happens BOTH with my Outlook.com account and Exchange.

I removed the mail/calendar app via powershell command and reinstalled and it is worse than before (can't add Exchange back)...

Is anyone else having this problem? I really need it fixed...thanks!

Yes, same issue here: I am getting the error: 0x80c8043e.
On my pc everything works fine, but on my laptop and phone, the outlook apps won't let me sign in.

On my Surface Pro 3 where I ran the powershell app to remove and then reinstall the Mail/Calendar app, it won't even let me add my Exchange Account Back...this is insanity...

In contrast, the Outlook app on my Android Phone is beautiful and works without a hitch each time.

I've posted the name post in the Microsoft Answers forum and as usual, I get a "stock response" back asking me questions I've already answered....

My workaround right now is to just use FULL Outlook...it works.

The issue I am having is when I click on the mail icon the app starts and then shuts down less than a second later.

I've gotten that before too. Hate that one.

As it stands, CLEAN installs of Windows on 2 of my 3 PC's fixed this. My third PC, I do not have the time to rebuild just for an e-mail app.

Just a follow up...on the PC that was having this problem...I joined the SLOW RING Insider program and bam, it fixed the email problem.
