Mail app on W10M drives me crazy

I'm using a L925 running WP10 one thing I notice that drives me crazy is the email. In WP8.1 when I splash it on I have my black background. But in WP10 it's stuck with a blue top boarder and a white background with black text. I can not figure out how to change this so its n oo t a white BG but black. Anyone know of a workaround this?

Why does it bother you so much? I understand you have preferences, but chill. If you really don't like it that much, post it in the Feedback app. Though, I don't think they'll listen, since that's the general theme they're going with. Look at Onedrive, and Outlook on the web.

It bothers me because I like having the the dark background option. it's better for my eyes than white. and where I live in email for a living it's more than a major issue to me. when one use a twitter app you have that option to use a dark or light feeds there is a reason for that.from day one on WP we have had that option.

As a matter of fact I'm quite satisfied with the app after last update, the dark theme looks awesome, it is pleasant to touch and look at

Not using linked mailboxes at all, not even on my PC

Unfortunately no, but the dark theme is good news and I believe a good sign.
