Maps app problem.

I need your help. I have a Lumia 950 XL Dual Sim, everything was working very well until one week or two.
I have the latest Redstone cumulative update (.82) and the problem is:
I open the maps app, the gps find my location, search for an address, ask for directions, hit the go button and then it starts the voice navigation but nothing happens, i can see the start point and the route but no more. After a few seconds, in the bottom of the app, pops up a message that say: no gps signal.
What can i do for solve this problem?

Try a soft reset for starting fixingn (hold vol down + power 15 secs). It happened on my 650 lats month

I think I have the same problem on the AU build, last 2 times I tried to navigate it calculated a route but did not actually start navigating, just showed instructions to "proceed to the highlighted route. I didn't notice any popup about no GPS signal but maybe didn't wait long enough as I either switched to my incar nav or Navigon. I would suggest posting in the feedback hub, going to do that myself.

I fixed that rebooting phone. Strange iussue, never happened after that

Yep, still good to report it even if a soft reset fixes it, that shouldn't be the way it works.

Seem to have fixed my problem, noticed no streets were being shown when viewing the map so I deleted all downloaded maps and now it works.

No, not sure how that would help. But waze works fine with the gps. Has to be a bug in yesterdays maps update.

Did you try deleting your maps and redownloading them?

Does it read out street names for you? I could never get it to read out street names on W10M. It works OK with voice prompts for turns only, but not street names.

I have not tried with street names, but neither worked on windows 8.1. I had no Voice guidance at all

I'll give a try later. Never used street name function, when I drive I need only direction and no more

Today's cumulative update fixed my problem with maps.
Now with and without internet connection the maps app works just fine. No more 'no gps signal' and the voice guidance starts instantly.
