Maps / SD card issue

I have a strange experience with Maps and SD card. I put my (old, class 4) SD card in the phone, and Maps wont find a route anymore. It tells me I should download the map, but I have already. Then if I take the card out again it works. Anyone else?

the map is stored on the phone? And did you ever store maps on that particular card before? I'm thinking that the card has an old map which is interfering with the map on the phone

Maps are stored on the phone, card is formatted (by the phone). I only want to put music on the card.

I don't have any other card. That's why I asked if someone else has the same issue.
