I have been trying to setup a Motorola MC35 Exec PDA Phone. Trying to install the CAB OTA or download the CAB and extract in the phone both cause the same error. The Install cannot continue as it is looking for a Smartphone Platform. It does not recognize the phone / OS evidently. The Phone is running the Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for Pocket PC Phone Edition (touchscreen)

Has anyone else had this issue or is there any complaints at the CELIO Support end of things?

NOTE: My friend has the phone back in his posession so I am guessing the error verbage, sorry I cannot give the exact verbage. I have one coming to me as well in the next few days. To the Engineers, be advised that the MC35can come with the Windows Mobile 5 PPC, Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional and can be upgraded from 5 to 6 with a Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0 Professional Upgrade Kit.

Thanks and Another Item of Praise

It's now fixed and posted at http://www.celiocorp.com/install/beta.

Make sure to refresh your browser if you had that page open earlier today.

You can also get it over-the-air on your phone at m.celiocorp.com

Colin, Thanks for the excellent speed in rectifying this. Not only do I have one of these MC35s on the way so I will be needing the proper driver (MC35s are really cheap on Ebay) I talked this guy into his Redfly and the MC35. I AM REDEEMED!!!

And Colin, let me take the opportunity to mention some EXCELLENT after sale support by Salesperson Andrew Johnson and Support Person Troy Beagley.

I had responded to a Email from Andrew who was working on Website Generated Leads ( hey, thats what sales is all about I give him credit for doing his job well and not staring at the phone waiting for it to Ring )

I mentioned an issue with my Redfly and within 36 hours he had Troy in touch with me and the matter has been resolved. Keeping in mind that I bought my Redfly from Expansys and NOT from Andrew, I was very impressed. Some people have been trained right.

As Troy stated twice in Emails to me: "It is our goal to dominate the Mobile Market and provide the best customer care possible."

Sorry if Im Off Topic but Heck, it was my thread LOL
