Hey folks - great forum!

Something i just noticed tonight when replying posts - it would double-post my reply (within a single reply) and between the text say "post merged at 8.30pm" or something similar.

I've seen it with others too, but here's my example...i went back and changed my other replies to delete the duplicate, but left this one for you to check out: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-810/204003-lumia-810-rattles.html

take care!

I'm having the exact same problem. When I reply with quote, I get a double post. It happened four times in a row and I had to go back and delete the duplicate text.

Leave this so the admins can see it.

You can add this one to the count.

Craziness going on! It's done it on every post for me.

Whether it's a quote or reply. I quickly delete the dupe.

Like this post... had to edit.

Testing

It appears that it only happens if one does not "go advanced", but I rarely go advanced when I post.

test test test...i'm going advanced like a boss.............................drumroll please....

EDIT: ok, advanced works for me, at least this time :)

Testing again. I was using the desktop browsers before. Now I'm running the "Metro", "Modern" or whatever Microsoft wants to call it version of IE10 in Windows 8 Pro.

This is a quick reply.

Hmm. "Go Advanced" does not make any difference if one uses "Metro"/"Modern" IE10 in Windows 8 Pro.

Desktop versions of IE10, Firefox, Chrome do not throw "merged post" if one uses "go advanced".
