Message settings L920 vs L1020

In my settings > system > messaging on my L920, i see an option for delivery confirmation but do NOT have that option on my L1020. If this has been asked please paste link to thread, couldn't find one in search. The only difference is my L920 has no sim as I don't use it off wifi, could it be the sim? AT&T

I have it on my 1020. Separate options for sms and mms confirmation.

I hard reset after each build with no backup, for what it's worth

Well wtf.... I did a hard reset as well.

On 10586, still the same. Suggestions please. Did a hard reset several times.

Unless it is something specific with at&t 1020's, I have no idea. Someone else with american one will have to comment.

Mine is canadian.

I believe those settings are controlled by the sim, if a phone doesn't have a sim you're probably seeing some sort of defaults plus without a sim you can't send/receive texts anyway.
