Messaging App Burning Battery

I just disconnected Skype from messenger via the Skype Video app, and installed the Skype app today. So I'll have to see how it turns out.

it has more background usage than normal usage, yea that's definitely faulty software, same with the photos app, I had to block it from running on the background, I cant do the same with the messaging app, I mean, I could just as easily get a feature phone then, what would be the difference

that one is equally bad, and one of the reasons I wanted to try w10m asap :P but it doesn't ruin your battery unless you use it(which sounds logical) and if you have an amoled phone it will be even worst

Ok, this is just weird.

Last night I had 97% charge. I put my L810 on the chi wireless charger like I always do. Woke up and picked up the phone, and it was down to 3% charge. I'm at a loss as to why now.
