Micro SD Slot Isn't Working...

I recently upgraded from a Surface 2 to a Pro 3 and the Micro SD card slot doesn't seem to work. It doesn't have that audible click like the RT tablets. Brand new store bought card which I've verified works in multiple devices.

I had the same issue, inserted it into the slot no click. I thought for sure it was broken turns out all you need to do is reboot and it should find it

I've done this multiple times. None of my SD Cards work.

Working now. Firmware hadn't finished even though I had rebooted multiple times. SD card working fine now.

That's good! One question though - did the MicroSD card "click" into place as it did on your Surface RT?

Exactly what I have found on my SP3 too! I was a bit taken aback - felt like (heck! feels like) the card could slip out at any time and I wouldn't even know! I wonder if other SP3 users have noticed this too.

It's normal. No click mechanism.

What about ejecting the card, I'm presuming it is still spring loaded? (Meaning pressing the card in will auto eject?)

No spring. Just pull the card out.
