Microsoft band battery life questions ?

some people are saying that you have to charge it everyday. is thid true ?
how long does it take to fully charge ?

if you fully charge the band and have a full night sleep track. then in the morning go for a jog without gps. will the battery be able to handle all these activities ? or do i have to charge it before i go for a run ?

how long does the battery last when the gps is on ?
 
I have to charge mine every ~3 days. But I only activate Bluetooth once in the morning to sync my recorded sleep stats + only go running twice a week (with GPS activated).
Charging from 5% to 100% takes about 1h-1,5h I would say. From 5% to 80% is like 20-30mins.

I would say you should be able to track your sleep + go for a 1h jog WITH GPS enabled in the morning without any problems (I guess even on 2 consecutive days without charging would be no problem)
 
With GPS on, the battery will drain in about 5 hours.

I usually charge every other day while I'm in the shower and getting ready. ~30 minutes keeps me topped off. I don't need to charge that often, though; I've had it last 3 days if I don't use GPS. It;s just easier to remember to do it regularly, for me.
 
For the first several months, I thought mine only charged to 80%, because it moved very quickly while charging from 10% to 20%, 20 to 30 . . . up to 80% and then stopped moving, seemingly. However, since Pimp my Band put out their battery indicator a month or so ago I discovered that if I leave it on for another 30-40 min, then turn it off and turn it on, it will be at 100%. And it stays there forever before dropping down to the lower levels. Before I had to charge it daily, but now I am definitely getting three days without doing any GPS activity. With 2-3 hours of GPS tracking and normal usage, plus sleep tracking I can get about 24 hours of use. For a full charge I would say it takes about an hour. If you get a full charge in the evening, then track your sleep, you would have no problem going for a 90 min run or bike ride in the morning with GPS tracking.
 
I put mine on the charger every morning for an hour or so while getting breakfast, showering, etc.
 
I get about 3 days with out GPS on if I don't charge. But mostly I put it on when I am at my computer that tops it off most every day and most convenient for me [not missing any steps]
