Microsoft devices in TV shows

Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Jack uses a Windows Phone throughout the movie. Several music videos, like Fun. - We Are Young, incorporate WP devices. The only downside is, unless you own or have used a WP device for awhile, you wouldn't know they were WP's. Most just show the texting screen, or dialer/incoming call screen. There is no brand connection. Most people assume they are just mock up phones, or skinned Android. When I point out to friends that it was a Microsoft device, they're like "That's cool, but they should have just used an iDevice, everyone recognizes those". It's frustrating.

The new Terminator: Genisys movie sports tons of Windows Phone devices, but none show the screens with the OS, just the body. They also show a fair amount of Surface and a Lumia tablets.
