Microsoft Display Dock compatible cables

Don't have the original cable for Microsoft Display Dock for Lumia.
Regular USB-C to USB-C cables show "Wrong cable" error message.
Which cables, aside from the extinct original Microsoft cable, are compatible?
Will it work with a Thunderbolt 3 cable?
