What an insulting article on so many point. First off he tries to imply that Google has no press office, when the entire Silicon Valley tech media IS Google's press office. Second, he implies Microsoft has lost most of its engineering talent, which is patently untrue if you look at XBox One, Windows 8.1, Outlook.com, SkyDrive, Windows Phone, Azure, Surface. MSR.

So the bottom line is this guy is just trying to mock Microsoft in favor of his paymaster Google.

Okay, most of the reviews of WP devices are fair, usually 3 1/2 stars. The 1020 got a 4 star as did the 928 and 920. Windows 8 tablets hover around the same review levels. I think that is fair, considering where W8 and WP8 are in the world of mobile. So I am not sure it is PC Mag as much as certain writers.
