Thanks for all the links and information on this, gang. I have really become anti-social sites due to their heavy use of peoples information, but search engines are something that is near impossible to avoid.

I find it hard to believe MS won't cave in to advertisers. In the end, there is just too much money on the line. I wouldn't care if MS made it a "premium" option you had to pay for to offset that loss. But, without that it is tough to watch Google and Yahoo have a stream of revenue and not play along when Bing is fighting for marketshare here in the US.
