Windows Central Question

Android 12
Microsoft Launcher v6.220602.1.1055730

I've got 3 navigation buttons. Normally, one of these buttons allows to switch between open apps but it's impossible to do so if 1 or more of the open apps is a hidden app (Microsoft launcher settings > Home screen > Hidden apps).

I really like using the hidden apps feature, but this makes the launcher unusable for me as I frequently switch between apps. Can anyone confirm this is the way it's supposed to work or is there a solution for this? I've got a pin code for accessing the hidden apps screen by the way.
