Why is Microsoft adding new features and apps on other platforms like iOS e.g Keyboard hub project they were working on, who says us Windows users dont want it too

The top brass says they are mobile first company; however windows mobile isn't their focus. Subtract the two for the answer.

Much of the cool stuff is coming Microsoft garage where the brass doesn't halt innovation as much.
