MicroUSB not working?

I just picked this one up from Ebay, and it works for most of my USB drives, though I do have issues with some of my flash drives. Even for those, though, it does beep and try to connect with them, which my standard micro to USB adapter would not. I posted successes/issues with this cable in the thread on sourcing USB cables. This cable is an OTG USB 3.0 cable. One poster got a white one similar to this on Amazon for a little cheaper and had success. There may still be some driver issues (or maybe some issues with several of my USB drives), but after my testing, I believe the issues are not hardware issues with the 2520.

I used my USB 2.0 otg from my Nokia N8. Was able to read my flash drive and also plugged in a nano receiver for my Logitech mouse and it worked also.

What brand and model is your cable?

I bought this one: Afunta 15CM Standard USB3.0 Female to Micro USB 3.0 Male OTG(On-The-Go) Cable for Samsung Galaxy Note3 N9000 N9002 N9005p.

I'm going to try a different brand of USB drive since robertre has had some luck.
