Mini Recorder Free App - recorded but plays back with no sound

I have the Mini Recorder Free App on my windows 8 phone. It worked perfectly for a few months there. Now none of the recordings play back with sound. You can see the recording moving but can't hear a thing.

I have tried downloading the file and converting it to a different format but still no sound. I recorded my assignment on it and need help getting it to work with sound. Does anyone know how to fix the file? They did playback before with sound but not anymore.

Windows 10 mobile has got the built in sound recorder its magnificent, another thing that makes it superior than 8 and 8.1.
