This new PDF viewer for Win 8.1 won't let me print the last page that you want signed. I have a Samsung monochrome laser printer and a Kodak color ink jet printer and neither of them do anything when I hit print on this new PDF viewer. Everything other than PDF's print fine. Would it be possible to have one mailed out? Should I contact James?

Can't you get adobe reader for it? I just got a new 8.1 laptop computer for work and it had adobe reader on it. Or if you need, I have a scanner and can scan it and send it to you in jpeg to print.

No, I don't have Adobe PDF reader, it didn't come with Win8, but I got it to print with Linux, so I am good now. What a lousy PDF viewer Win8 comes with.

That's weird. I used the Win8.1 PDF app and was able to print only the last page on my wired USB Brother HL-2240 laser printer. Then I signed the page and scanned it with my Epson XP-310 all-in-one wireless machine.

It's really weird. I was doing it off my main box. Fresh install of Win8.1. The only thing I've loaded on it is Firefox, Steam, two CoD games and ATI drivers. My Samsung printer is connected with a USB cable and my Kodak printer is wireless. Both have worked fine for printing everything else. They just don't work with the Win8.1 PDF viewer.

I visited Brother's and Epson's sites to get the latest drivers/firmware for Win8.1 x64.

I bought an OEM DVD of Win8.1 from NewEgg for my main box and did a fresh install about 3 months ago. When I setup the Samsung printer, Win8.1 had the drivers. When I setup the Kodak ESP9 printer, it didn't have the drivers, so I did a Microsoft search and it found the drivers. Like I said, everything else prints fine off either printer. I don't get it either. I am stumped. I'll have to do some searching tomorrow.

I usually don't use the Microsoft drivers. I'll get the drivers from the vendor's website.

BTW, Brother is really good with Linux support.

It changes from a little to a lot quite quickly if you marry a French wife.

Or you can grow up in Louisiana, take two years of high school French, and date a girl whose grandmother speaks nothing but French. So you try to impress her and say hello, how are you in French. She then proceeds to go off in a conversation in French and you realize that you have no idea what she is saying. And you stand there with a stupid smile on your face, nodding and saying "oui", while the rest of the family is standing there laughing at you.

I find French a very seductive language - I could listen to it all day and not feel angry at all even if someone called me names!

Where I'm from, there's a HUGE French-Canadian population. Everyone here takes French from grades 4 through 9... in high school it's optional. But yeah, my French could still be a lot stronger.

I took this picture last September, you can probably understand it. About 3 years ago, I made a French helper page for my niece who was taking her first year of High School French.
