Hey all,
popping up from the 928 forum here. I can understand you all wanting to keep (dev-only, not final, preview, etc) GDR3 news and posts in one place, but do you think it would be possible to have a bit of discretion available to the mods? The first day, someone started a thread regarding it for the 928, and individual devices can always have their own quirks. Instead I ended up trawling a gigantic thread (in the GDR3 forum) to find anyone who had successfully installed it on their 928.
Another thread was started in the 928 forum, regarding call blocking working successfully with GDR3. This was a GDR2 feature (actually, it might even be a Nokia Amber feature) that was broken on the 928 when running on VZW's network, though there were reports of it working when running the 928 on GSM networks. If it is "unbroken" when working on one phone running on one specific network, that's not really GDR3 news or a GDR3 feature, you think?
Now, I can totally understand when someone creates a "who plans to install GDR3??" or "what features are in GDR3??" or "did you know GDR3 can be installed?" thread in each phone sub-forum it should be closed and referred over to the main GDR3 forum.
Anyway, just a thought, thanks.
