MOD: Sticky Please ?? A T & T Tilt ROM UPDATE (model 8925)

At & T Tilt will not accept HTC Rom...

Using the At & T Tilt.. Just purchased recently (Feb 2008)

according to my settings/device info my ROM etc.. are:

ROM v : 1.57.502.2
ROM date: 08/25/07
Radio v: 1.27.12.11
Protocol v: 22.45.88.07H

Ok, now the problem...

If I try to upgrade to the new ROM version from the HTC web site,
it stops after about 1% and says my device is not compatible with the ROM.

Any help/feedback???


Do I need it, or is mine the newsest ROM available for my AT & T phone>>??

For example, PTT works etc.. But I still experiance "lag" problems upon start up with password enabled etc.. (some of which I read are fixable with new ROM)


Thanks for your input, as I am new to the TILT/HTC...Kaiser phone...

This IS the latest ROM for the A T & T Tilt model 8925. It works, and is NOT listed at the HTC web site as of yet.

I just installed, no problems. Will lose all personal settings etc...

Getting ready to tweak my phone with HTC plug-in etc...

Will re-post if I have any problems.

Hey geez - Did you have to do any hacking to your Tilt to get it to accept the ROM, or did it "just work"?

Nevermind - this isn't a "Kaiser" ROM, it's the new Tilt ROM we reported on:

nevertheless, a good update - if you have a Tilt definitely worth the patch.

Does anybody knows what is the lates HTC update ROM version. I currently have installed on my AT&T Tilt an HTC ROM:
ROM Version: 1.56.405.5
RADIO Version: 1.27.12.11

Can anyone point me to any new HTC ROM update newer than the one I have? Thank you.

I live in Dubai and i have a HTC TYTN II here, we are not bound by any carriers, can i download and update my ROM?
my current version is:
ROM: 1.81.415.4 WWE
ROM DATE: 10/29/07
RADIO VERSION: 1.27.15.32
Protocol: 22.51.88.13H

i bought this just 2months ago (mar 2008). As such i don't have any major issue with my mobile, it is working fine with some small niggles, i would like to have the latest ROM if available.

OK, this one worked - the other links appear to be dead. This gives two ROM options - I think that the first is the original and the second is certainly the new one with WM 6.1.
