More Low End Lumias?

Why not it is a 4 inch and most new Lumia low ends are bigger. So for people with small pockets it should be perfect.

I think now days MS becoming Samsung in peppering the market with large number of low end smartphones.

It's very well possible that this is just another one of the Android devices that Nokia had in the pipeline (Nokia X series), which MS ordered to be changed to WP after Nokia was acquired. I'm certain the 535 was such a device. I don't know about this one, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same thing.

And you know Samsungs fate well. Now they're the largest. A Lumia 435 would be great in my opinion, but a REAL low end should have all the top features, just watered down. Or maybe WP could be optimized for these on low ends:
1 GHz Snapdragon
All storage in SD
4 Mb ram.
2 mp camera.
I'm basically saying that Microsoft should re-release the Asha and feature phones for Windows (or a CE equivalent.)

I can't see this happening to be honest. The 530+ range is cheap enough and most people these days expect 5MP to be the minimum for a camera. Think this is a bogus report

This phone is more like the replacement of the Nokia X and the Asha series... maybe the feature phones with the outdated S40. So, it's not intended for the US and Europe.

Could be a hit if the price is right, like bellow $60...

They should at least make it look like an Asha or S40 feature phone. I know there are people that like their Asha.

Well, Lumia 638 launched in India. Its even cheaper than 535. Its a successor of 635 with 1 Gb of ram.

The 636/638 may be subsidized in some form... They are budget LTE models that are supposed to entice users onto the emerging 4G networks in China and India. Either Microsoft is getting incentive from governments or carriers - or - they are taking a loss to get this foothold.
