Motorola xoom otg cable question.

Ok just dump the ipad 3 for a Dell venue 8 pro. I have 2 otg cables that I bought back when I had a Motorola xoom. It does not seem to work. Anyone know if the Motorola xoom otg cable is different? Will not read any usb thumb drive. Yes the tablet charges with the stock cable. Unless I missed setting up something software wise? Thanks!

Anyone? Is there wiring differences on otg cables? I hate to think my tablet USB is bad out of the box.

I hope not, I just ordered a cheap OTG cable. I'll let you know if it works when I receive it.

Dell says the otg cable is wired different on the xoom and will not work on the venue. I ordered 2 so me & tithe wife have one.
