Cheers! Try getting the regular version. The N edition may not even have WMP included.

it doesnt, but MS has WMP on their website for N editions.

Right click Music under Libraries.
w
Properties>Add (add your folder here)

Just make sure while you do this, you don't have your Music App open.

Once you are done adding it, start the Music App. All your music, in one place. Enjoy.

My network storage location was already there when I installed win8 upgrade as I kept all my settings and files. Did a little googleing and it seems it may not like having networked storage. Wants me to copy all files to my PC so they can be indexed which it claims is only possible if available offline.

Not sure what Adele was playing because I was skipping through songs to get to one I liked and got an xbox music pass advertisement come up and play. So maybe adele is just an album that anyone can listen to for free while online???

I think the reason yours looks different is because of the N Edition. I remember there being something different between ours before. Mine looks just like the one that is shown. Maybe it isn't quite fully ready for India yet.

No, the reason for this look is that XBox Music service is not available in your country, I have the same in Czech republic
