Music screwed up since last update

Last week the music app received an update. Ever since then, a large chunk of my artists won't show up in the proper tab. They now show up under the # heading rather than the proper alphabetic letter. All my music is stored on an SD card. I tried reformatting the card and recopying the music back to the card from my computer but they still aren't showing up properly. Any ideas?

Just wanted to know you are talking about built-in music app or third party app ?
