My tip to Nokia since Nokia is opening up small in-mall pop-up stores similar to Microsoft holiday pop-up stores this is a great opportunity to implement awesome partner incentives.

I have an idea that can potentially help Nokia gain mass public awareness for the Lumia brand and to also increase the marketshare.

Disclaimer this plan by no mean is perfect it's just an idea I cooked up driving home.

What Nokia should do in my opinion is to offer slick partner incentives.

For example
- if you sell 50 Nokia Lumia's you get a free Nokia Lumia 920
- if you sell 35 Nokia Lumia's you get a free Nokia Lumia 820
- if you sell 30 Nokia Lumia's you get a Xbox 360
- if you sell 25 Nokia Lumia's you get a 6 months free of Xbox Live and Music or Office 365

I mean this is pretty cool IMO if you sell 50 Nokia Lumia's which isn't too hard especially if your at a high volume mall you get a free Nokia Lumia 920 which you can keep or flip it for 300-600$ depending on the market.

This way a partner can get a awesome new 920 or flip it for 300-600$ and you add +1 user to the WP/Lumia marketshare

Selling Lumia's to a iPhone 4S/5 owner might be difficult but if you go for the iPhone 3GS/4 crowd, low-mid range Android crowd and especially the BB crowd it's a very easy sell.

Moving 50 units can be done in no time plus if you move alot you can be racking on 600$ in your pocket weekly no biggie.

So that's my strategy on how to increase marketshare and brand recognition what do you guys think? Like I said it's not perfect but its a raw concept that can be used to add upon.

(Hopefully someone from Nokia sees this)

BG

Hopefully personally I don't understand the hype with the GS3 Nokia offers a way better product hope they get people with GS2's or old Notes to move over.

Microsoft had a promotion on telus that was pretty sweet. If you bought a WP7 device you got a free xbox 360 slim (4gb core model).

Honestly MS should do more of that. free 360, controllers, kinect, 1 year xbox live etc.

You would likely be expected to sell 35 phones per week just to remain employed. Free equipment would call for a much higher amount. You would more likely get one when you started to ensure you are a "pro" with the device.

That I think Verizon and at&t. Sell 35 Windows phones per week to remain employed. If you don't your fired. That is a very good strategy
