My htc one x plus cell phone is not being recognized now. How do I fix this?

I have had my htc phone and the htc synch manager working for some time. I don't use it often but want to transfer from pictures onto my computer and I cannot access the phone at all through the computer.

The One X Plus is an Android device and unfortunately your post is in a wrong forum. Kindly post this in Android Central so someone can assist you better.

BTW usually in cases like yours its either a bad cable or the computer is missing drivers. Check Device Manager and try to find any USB controllers with a problem (yellow sign with exclamation), right-click and check for an updated driver.
