My iPad is solo BORING after....

Playing with a touch enabled laptop running Windows 8 at Best Buy! Wow, this new OS is fresh, exciting, different, user friendly, contemporary.....I could on!

I think when people get over their fear of change and give it a try they will really like it. The employees at BB who loved it where clearly the ones who knew how to use it. They paid attention in their training. The others who were not very excited knew very little about it.

I could do so much more on windows 8 with fewer keystrokes than on my iPad.

My dad has an iPad 2 and I have installed Windows 8 on desktop. He actually said, "Can I have this (points at the desktop) on this (points at his iPad)"

Considering the average user that the iPad is marketed towards (no disrespect to your dad), I'm not surprised that he thought that was possible. Now that he's used to using a tablet, he can graduate to a real tablet.
