My Lumia 1020 is totally dead

can anyone help me pease why my lumia 1020 totally dead,when i try to connect the charger windows logo button turns on just a few second and then nothings happen
can someone help me

Try performing the hard reset button combo.
Hold down the power and volume down buttons until you feel a vibration, then stop and immediately hold down the volume down button.
After seeing an exclamation point, try pressing the volume up, volume down, power, and volume down buttons in that exact order.

But be aware that this will wipe out any apps/data.....
