Here's what happened was trimming plants near the pond and yes I fell in. Completely in the pond up to my stomach phone well submerged in my jeans pocket. Took about 20 seconds to climb out and another 30 to get a towel to dry the phone off.
I immediately popped the back off and removed the battery..it was bone dry inside I was amazed. Put the battery back in and it fired up like nothing happened.
The phone was without any case... seems like very tight tolerances kept the water out. Great job Nokia.
