My Microsoft wireless display adapter is not sending the sound to the TV

The picture is perfect but no sound is sent to the TV. I get sound from the laptop I am sending from. I have changed HDMI inputs, rebooted the dongle, rebooted the laptop and nothing seems to work. Great picture, no sound. When the dongle was first installed the sound worked.
