My New Redfly Arrived!

The new C7 arrived in the mail today. Can't be more pleased. The Redfly is everything I hoped for and more. Right now I'm in the process of testing apps. When I first set up the Redfly the top left status icons were unusable (cell signal, phone status, battery, etc.). Seems the conflict had to do with two SPB products--Mobile Shell and Keyboard. Both are now removed and everything works great.

I do have one question. I thought I read somewhere that the new driver fixed SPB Mobile Shell incompatibility. Is that incorrect?

Sorry, that is incorrect. However, we actually met with SPB Software last week and CTIA and I have some hope that we can work together better in the future. But for now unfortunately the REDFLY and SPB shell do not play together.

Another newbie question. I've installed the latest driver and firmware options. After I run the firmware upgrade for the Redfly, do I need to keep that file installed on the phone or can I delete that?

You can delete it if you would like as it will be installed with every firmware update.
