Oh that does make sense! Yeah manually setting the focus is a great idea.

I honestly feel they half-assed the Lumia 930 ... Should have gone with an f/2 aperture instead. That's a third stop advantage on noise in low light.

For indoor shots I highly recommend the camera app included in Fhotoroom. It focuses very quickly.
I use it a lot to take shots of my daughter who never sits still.

No, f/2.4 is perfect and have the same or betters results than f/2 aperture size. Even on low light. Plus less noise.
