My phone is charging but its not turning on?

My phone was perfectly good yesterday and today's morning, except that I forgot to charge it, so the battery died before I settled home, I've been charging it ever since, it vibrates at the beginning like its supposed to,but never turns on to the lock screen. I really need my phone these days,help!

If your phone is a 500, 600, 700, or 800 series, then buy a new battery.
