Hey, guys!
Recently, my SP4 suddenly started presenting a lot of bugs and kept reseting itself over and over with that Green Screen of error, with some QR code (I believe we're all familiar with it by now). I tried restoring it, but it just got worse, to the point that there's NOTHING in it. I can't even open the settings or the Start Menu. And the following message appeared now (I'll post the attachment).

What can I do?? I'm from Brazil and I don't know who I can turn to to repair it.

It looks to me like a corrupted user profile or something related to that. Can you boot into Safe Mode? If so, try a System Restore. Or if you can use File Explorer, see if you have more than one Desktop folder in your user profile.

I copied this part of the Safe Mode boot instructions from a website:

  1. Press the power button on Surface to turn it on.
  2. Press F8 when the Windows Boot Manager screen comes up to go to Startup Settings.
  3. Press 4 to enable Safe Mode.
  4. Surface may do disk checking as well as perform a scan and repair. Surface will then restart.
  5. Press F8 when the Windows Boot Manager screen comes up to go to Startup Settings.
  6. Press 4 to enable Safe Mode.
Do you have another PC? Are you able to look up sites to assist you?
