My UK bought L630 is currently downloading a Phone Update

OK, it's downloaded 8.10.12397.895, which is the most recent build from the Developer Preview.

If your L630 is on an earlier build than that, do a manual Phone Update check.

This was rolled out a couple of weeks ago -- but it seems limited to single SIM devices? My father has a French dual-sim, and even when he forces the update, nothing is proposed.

OK, it's just completed another update, the OS build is still the same, and I don't think I ever took note of the firmware build. Who knows what that was.

Check again you might get one more.
the update you just got was released weeks ago.

I'm not on the Dev Preview.

And my firmware is a little different to yours, it ends in 36003. Maybe that was what I've just got.

Whatever, I did a manual check for updates and it says my phone is up to date.
