My windows deleting my files?

Hello everyone,,
After updating to windows 10 October 2018 feature update (VERSION 1809) my windows automatically deleting some of my files. Today I noticed it auto removed my Dolby Drivers. How to fix this problem please help.

Hi, 1809 was pulled due to the fact that there were widespread issues like yours. That was the bad news. The good news is that you probably won't lose any other files than those that have already been deleted :/

Afaik there isn't a way to get these back. I think it deletes the files permanently.

Do you have windows 10 pro by any chance?

Step 1: Always, always, absolutely always run a backup before updating at this level. As for the Dolby drivers... visit the oem's web page.

P.s. Surely you can grab the files from the backup instance that Windows 10 creates? (In order to roll back if needed)
