My Windows phone 8.1 won't let me download any apps, how do I download them?

my windows phone 8.1 wont let me download any apps.how do i download them?

I tried to download kik messenger and some games and it was saying i had to have a my family setup account but I don't want to setup a account

In order to download apps from the Windows Phone store, you must have a Microsoft account.

Make sure your time and date settings are correct. If they are not you wont be able to download from the store or update your phone.
