I was able to disconnect and reconnect my account but its still not syncing. I hope MS is working on partnering with other sites like fatsecret.com. I find MFP clunky all on its own.

^^^ This.

Update: as of this morning I'm now seeing "Microsoft Health calorie adjustment" again on the MFP website, and my steps are showing up again on the Android app. Doesn't look the fix is retroactive though...seems to have restarted late yesterday.

Looking back, I also sense that on some days MFP got an accurate final count on my total calories burned as reported by the Band, while on other days, not so much. Clearly the two databases are not having a harmonious relationship.

Personal thought: as I've noted elsewhere, I'm totally underwhelmed by the quality of the MFP website and app. It also seems that the user community is constantly on the edge of mutiny. That doesn't really surprise me -- what DOES surprise me is that Microsoft would (apparently, desperately?) partner with a software company that is delivering a so completely half-baked product. Why would they shoot themselves in the foot like that? It also begs the question of why the launch didn't immediately include data-sharing with the MS Health Vault.

I got today a message from RunKeeper support saying that Microsoft has identified a bug that was preventing synchronization. Indeed synch with RunKeeper has restarted. I'm not seeing the same for MFP, but hopefully it's just a matter of time.

It's working now with MFP. It's working so good, that I have a negative Daily Goal (-net). Now, I have to eat more food.

Now that its syncing again I figured out that its useless. Yesterday I pushed myself to get my calorie burn to 3,745 calories. I logged 2781 calories in food. According to MFP I overate by 1281 calories when I actually had a 964 calorie deficit. I've attached a screenshot from the MFP app. I do not log anything exercise related in MFP, these entries were all created by the sync process.

There is an option in MFP to not allow negative numbers but that still wouldn't add up correctly. MFP needs to just take the value from the band and not try and calculate anything on its own.

(The fitbit ad in the screenshot probably shows how committed MFP is to the band)

I think this is an MFP issue actually... My roommate's JawboneUP24 stopped syncing with his account the same time as my band started acting up.

Hi sorry to bring up an old thread, but my band stopped syncing with My fitness pal after the update on 4/28. My exercises just aren't appearing. I disconnected and reconnected it but no luck. Anyone else having issues?

It's an issue that MFP are aware of. I emailed them and they said they 'have an issue' and are working with Microsoft to resolve. Mine are showing again, but as negative. I just delete the entry next day - otherwise it looks like I've been a lazy !@$% and eaten too much LOL.

So my workout from yesterday, Wednesday showed up today, Thursday in MFP diary. But it came up as today's date not yesterdays. That was yesterdays workout...wtf...i blame MFP. Once they updated their app last year and it was so buggy. It stopped working and I would constantly have to uninstall and reinstall it. It would just say loading and would never let me search for food. I really like their app but it still has issues. It freezes too sometimes in the barcode scan
